Wow, I guess I did even more damage than I thought! Oh well, you play you pay as they say. I need to be on my best behavior eating and exercise wise today. I made a scrambled egg with a 1/2 slice Canadian Bacon and some green onion. I served the egg with a slice of toast with about a teaspoon of butter. I also poured a small (really small) glass of V8, low sodium juice.
I got a few little chores done then I had my usual late morning cup of coffee with 2 teaspoons of cream.
I had a bowl of split pea soup with 3 saltine crackers. It's crazy cold for California in mid-May. It's 56F out.. brrr! By the way a cup of Anderson's Split Pea Soup is only 140 calories, 25g of carb less 5g of fiber for a net carb of 20 and 9g of protein.
I still haven't made it out for a walk. Nevertheless I had a small slice of Swiss cheese. Given the crackers I had for lunch I skip the additional "smart carb". About a half hour after lunch I took off for a walk to the post office and back and that would be the only walk for the day.
None of my Nutrisystem "dinner" entrees sounded good so I heated a Nutrisystem Hamburger. I added 1/2 slice (1/2 ounce) cheddar cheese and topped the burger with a little ketchup and mustard. It wasn't terrific but it was filling enough for sure.
I got a little hungry later in the evening so I split a Nutrisystem Chocolate Cupcake with my husband. The cupcake and a glass of water made a nice snack.
As I suspected I never did go out for another walk, some days are just like that. My only Nutrisystem foods today were my hamburger for dinner and my chocolate cupcake for dessert. Other than I'm getting in a little too much full fat cheese I'm doing pretty well. Are we all ready for the weekend? Have a great one!
