I have shopping to do so I fortified myself ahead of time with a breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast with a little butter and coffee.
It wasn't much of a snack but I bought a cup of coffee out and had it with cream.
I was still out and about at lunch time so I popped in a Starbucks and split a Starbuck's Protein box containing cheese, apple and 9-grain crackers. The whole box is 450 calories which I think is a pretty huge serving so half was plenty.
I was going to skip my snack today but I spied the radishes I had in the refrigerator so I munched on a few of those. Unfortunately they were a little too hot.
I had this entree stashed in the back of my freezer. This is the first time I've had this and I have to say I really liked it. It is the Nutrisystem Artichoke and Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast. I used to really like the mushroom stuffed chicken breast but for whatever reason it has gone away. The ingredients include red bell pepper and the flavor is pretty prominent along with the artichokes. I would definitely order this again. The only funny thing about about all of the "stuffed chicken breast" entrees is that once they are baked they look like a big baked potato.
I served the chicken with a simple field greens salad with a teaspoon of raw sunflower seeds and 1/4 ounce blue cheese.
I couldn't decide if I wanted the Nutrisystem Cinnamon Coffee Cake or the Nutrisystem Chocolate Cupcake so I decide to have 1/2 of each; splitting the desserts with my husband.
I have to say that shopping is one of my least favorite tasks; it's something I'm not good at. The upside is that I get outside and walk around which is a good thing. Other than shopping I didn't get much exercise for the day. I had two flex meals, breakfast and lunch and a nice dinner. I've given up tracking how much water I drink so I don't even try now. Hopefully I can get back to my 10 step days soon.
