I had that open face egg sandwich for lunch a couple days ago and remembering how good it was made me decide to have it again this morning. It's easy to make, tastes good and it's pretty filling. That said, let's take a look at the nutrient breakdown:
Calories: 200, carbs 21%, fat 61% and protein 18%.
I guess it could be worse.
As I'm getting a lot of little tasks done in the yard I got pretty hungry by 11:am. I whipped up one of my Nutrisystem Turbo Chocolate Shakes. This is the first time I've had one of these in a at least a couple of weeks. I took break, sipped my shake and headed back out to the yard to get a few more little things done.
About 1:00 I headed in to have some lunch but decided to get one more walk around the block. I have a meeting at 2:00 so I don't have a lot of time to spare. After my walk I'm only up to 5269 steps. I'm going to have to get a walk in this evening or I don't have any hope of hitting 10k for the day.
I made a quick lunch of the Nutrisystem Graham Bar. This tasted "ok" to me on the 1st week when I had little variety but otherwise I just am not a big fan of "candy-bar" like meal replacement bars.
Although I was a little hungry; nothing sounded good and "easy" to fix so I settled for a slice of Swiss cheese.
I had one last pouch of the Nutrisystem BBQ Seasoned Chicken. I served it atop 1/2 of an organic wheat One Bun sandwich bun which I toasted with a little garlic powder. I steamed a few green beans too and served those alongside.
I still needed another walk so I just walked around a few local blocks. When I got back I was still about 400 steps short. I took the opportunity to do a few things around the yard and that just completed by steps for the day.
I'm down to mostly chocolate cupcakes and I didn't feel like eating that so I had one last bag of Nutrisystem Sweet and Salty Snack Mix. (salted peanuts, roasted almonds with a little salt and sugar, pretzels). I finished that off with a glass of water.
My 10k steps today were mostly made up of short walks within the neighborhood and one longer walk. Today I had one flex meal, breakfast, then lunch, dinner and evening snack were Nutrisystem foods. My weight is down another .6lbs for a total of 12.6 lbs since March 29, 2019.
