Almost another pound down! I may have just walked that off yesterday haha! I was ready for some breakfast. I heated a Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin and added 1/2 ounce cheddar cheese to improve the flavor. It makes a big difference and adds 60 calories; I can live with that!
I headed out to the farmer's market early so I could get fresh salad greens before they get too picked over. As much as I love our local grocery store the salad greens there are hopeless. It's a 7/10 of a mile walk each way to the market so that's a bonus. I stopped at the coffee shop and met a friend who also lives in town for a cappuccino. Fun!
We chatted for an hour so by the time I walked home I was hungry again. I had the last teeny 2 bites of steak left over from a couple nights ago so I ate that. Very tasty and filling.
Given I purchased a pound of mixed dark leafy salad greens then a nice salad for lunch sounded great. I dressed the greens with a little bit of olive oil, salt and balsamic vinegar. Then I topped the salad with about 1/2 ounce blue cheese, 1 ounce shredded roasted chicken and about 1 1/2 teaspoons raw sunflower seed. Heavenly!
I wanted to head out for one more walk this afternoon to get my 10k in. Before I left I ate 1 ounce of raw cashew nuts and sipped on 1/2 glass of black iced coffee. Walk was one mile and as of 3:30 I have 10,106 steps. YAY TEAM!
I didn't really want this Nutrisystem Roasted Turkey Medallions and Mashed Potato dinner but I "bought in depth" last time and I need to eat them. I made a big salad too with apples, red onions and a little blue cheese. I ate my salad first so I was too full to finish the rest of the meal. I packed it away and I'll "try" to remember to eat it for lunch tomorrow.
I went outside after dinner and did some watering around the yard. Unfortunately not everything in my yard is set up on a water system so there is much manual work to be done. When I came back in I wanted something sweet so I had a Nutrisystem Chocolate Cupcake.
This was a good day with plenty of fresh air and exercise. I've got a lot going on this next week so I'm glad I had a fruitful but relaxing day. Hope you all are ready for Monday; see you then!
