I'm down 2/10 of a lb. more. I've probably had milk 3 times in the last many years but I bought some 2% at the grocery store yesterday. I get tired of my Fage 2% yogurt from time to time. So I poured 1/2 cup of milk atop my Nutrisystem Granola Cereal and topped with about an ounce of fresh blueberries. That was wayyy too much milk for the amount of cereal in the bowl but c'est la vie. For some reason this seemed more filling than the version with yogurt.
I headed out to the grocery store to pick up a couple things including an Amazon package. I love that our grocery store two blocks up the street has Amazon lockers. I send every order I can there unless for some reason the locker is full which happens.
I should just write "ditto from day before". I had a cup of fresh hot coffee with 2 teaspoons of fresh heavy cream.
I relied on my ever-popular (with me) Nutrisystem Steak and Cheese Melt. I chopped the last of my fennel bulb and dressed it with a little red wine vinegar, teeny bit of olive oil and salt and pepper. Hey, that was a vegetable!
I was a little hungry around 2ish. I had a little piece of steak left over from last night so I sliced off two little slices and scooped up some of the sauce. This is pretty "fatty fat" sauce so it was very filling even if it was just two bites.
I took a walk around 3:00 and finished off my 10k for the day! This is the first time in about 2 weeks, actually April 27th to be exact.
I wanted something with some flavor for dinner so I heated the Nutrisystem Chicken Pasta Parmesan. I steamed a little broccoli to serve alongside.
A few days back I ate 2/3 of the Nutrisytem Chocolate Brownie Sundae. Tonight I polished off what was left of the little cup. Later on I was a little hungry again so I had one ounce of Swiss Cheese.
I'm happy to finally be making some weight loss headway. I am a slow loser so I'm used to that but it still gets discouraging after awhile. It was soooo nice to have enough energy to get over 10k steps in! I have to admit I really felt it. I got pretty tired this evening. Tomorrow is Sunday so I can hit the Farmer's market early and get some fresh vegetables. Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's tomorrow!
