I'm still dealing with stomach upset so for now I'll just continue eating anything that sounds edible and still healthy as possible. This morning I had a slice of toast with a little too much butter and 1/2 of a small banana, sliced. The combination tasted good and was settling. I went outside and walked around the yard a little to get some fresh air then I trimmed a couple feet of a small, slightly out of control hedge.
A short while after I made a trek all the way around the block and back; woo hoo!
After my walk a snack was in order. I sliced off 1 1/2 ounces of left over roasted chicken from last night and served it with a couple ounces of sliced red bell pepper. The pepper wasn't as sweet as I'd hoped but at least it was a vegetable :-).
This, I'm sad to admit was lunch. I don't know why but when my stomach is out of whack most things that sound good are unhealthy. Chock this up to 310 calories of Nestle's Drum Stick.
At least I decided on a fairly healthy snack. I had 1/2 ounce Toscano Salami on a slice of Dave's Killer skinny bread.
Once again nothing sounded good so I heated a leftover chicken wing and leg from the chicken I roasted yesterday. I ate a few bites -- just didn't taste good.
I was not up for dessert. Before bed I was a little hungry so I had 1/2 slice of Tillamook Pepperjack cheese.
This was not exactly a taco eaten' margarita makin' Cinco de Mayo for me. I managed to get a few short walks in. I'm trying to at least keep moving. Hope you all had a fun Sunday. See you tomorrow!
