This will be a brief blog entry today. My "medical" stuff has left me energyless and the only appetite I have is for things are aren't very healthy. I was able to down a Nutrisystem Double Chocolate Muffin which didn't taste good to me today but I needed to eat something. I had one cup of coffee with 2 teaspoons heavy cream.
I've barely moved off the sofa so far so I didn't even feel like a snack.
I was getting hungry but still in the "nothing sounds good mode". One thing sounded good, a Nestle's Drumstick Cone. I have not had one of these things in at least a couple of years. Heaven only knows why it sounded good but it did. My husband went and fetched one for me so that, I'm sad to say, was lunch. 310 calories by the way.
I had another appointment to make at 4:30. I knew there was no way I was going to have energy to make dinner. My husband likes Chinese food so I had him pick up some fried rice and Mongolian beef on the way home.
I picked at my Chinese food and it tasted better than I thought it would. My taste buds are making everything taste a little "off".
Nothing Nutrisystem sounded good but I ate part of one more Drumstick.
Hopefully I won't have many more days like this. I'm making the best of it and trying not to beat myself up over being temporarily off track.
