Wow, it's cold out so far today! We're having very manic weather; hot one day, cold the next. Well it keeps us on our toes! Today is a flex breakfast so I poached an egg and served it on one slice of Dave's Killer Skinny bread. I also had a 1 1/8 oz slice of ham. Yes, the rest is going in the freezer this morning! I sipped on a glass of low sodium V8 juice to make myself feel like I'm eating some vegetables. And yes, the egg was a little overcooked.
Around 9:30ish I had a cup of fresh coffee with 2 teaspoons of heavy cream. So far I've had no inclination to get a walk in. I'll try for it in an hour or so; hopefully it will warm up a little.
I shuffled through the freezer and pulled out one of my new more-favorite melts; the Nutrisystem Spinach and Cheese Pretzel Melt. I heated it, toasted the outside and served with a little celery. I took a very short walk after lunch; like up the block and back.
Health-wise I've not been feeling great. I had my usual cup of coffee with 2 teaspoons of heavy cream. And then for whatever reason I ate 1 Hershey's chocolate nugget. Something sweet just sounded good.
Nothing sounded good for dinner. Technically this became a flex dinner. I didn't want much but I wanted something. I charred a corn tortilla over the burner (it got a little overly toasty) then I melted about 2/3 ounce of shredded cheddar cheese on top and topped that with some La Victoria Taco Sauce. It tasted good and my stomach didn't object so I'll take that as a win.
I know, I know I keep eating these. There are three reasons, 1 - I ordered several, 2 - they are one of the lowest calorie desserts I ordered, 3 - they taste good!
For health reasons having NOTHING to do with diet I was unable to walk or even move much today. I anticipate this should be getting better in a day or two and I can get more on track. Less than 3k steps in a day is not good. I did fairly well with water and not so good with fresh vegetables. I'm not so sure V8 juice and celery counts a whole lot.
