I suspect my weight is up a little because of an odd set of meals yesterday. I started today out with a flex breakfast, 2 power fuel foods and one smart carb. I had 2 soft boiled eggs with a slice of Dave's Killer Skinny bread, toasted with about a teaspoon of butter. My stomach was not great this morning but this breakfast seemed petty settling. I was in such a hurry to eat my eggs before they got over cooked I didn't take time to take a pic, OOPS!
I needed to get some writing in so I went to my office and stayed at my desk for awhile. I took a couple of breaks and walked up the block and back. I don't feel great but I want to keep my exercise up as best I can.
I took a break at some point and had my usual fresh cup of coffee with 2 teaspoons of heavy cream. I headed outside to do a little watering and gardening. Around 11:00a.m. I came in and had a snack. I had a couple sticks of celery and 1 Laughing Cow Light Swiss cheese wedge. I was going to eat two wedges but I filled up with the 1st one.
I got a short walk in, it's still pretty warm. I came back and heated a Nutrisystem Steak and Cheese Melt and peeled and cut up a carrot. This made a simple but filling lunch.
I managed to miss my afternoon snack. Sometimes I eat a meal late then one meal ends up on top of the other.
As you can see I'm trying to catch up on Flex meals although I don't recommend this. You should keep them integrated at regular intervals and not let them bunch up. I sliced more ham (I'm going to freeze the rest soon). I cooked a few fresh sliced mushrooms and heated some corn. I didn't care for the corn so I only took a few bites. I ate most but not all of the ham; 4 ounces is a LOT of ham.
It had cooled off a lot so I mustered up all the energy I had and headed out for a walk. I actually accumulated quite a few steps with all my small walks throughout the day so with my evening I ended up tired but with over 11k steps.
Something for dessert sound good so I unwrapped a Nutrisystem Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich and ate it as slowly as I could.
I'm surprised I actually was able to exceed my step goal. I'm eating more fresh vegetables than normal which is something but not saying a lot. I mostly only like vegetables roasted or raw and I get tired of raw. I've more or less given up on my water goal, at least with tracking it. Hope you have fun weekend plans, see you then!
