Sunday, April 21, 2019 Easter Sunday Total Steps: 10,362 Total Calories: 1224 Water Intake: 24 oz (yikes, not much!) Weight Loss as of March 29, 2019 : -7.5 Almost down 8lbs !
I was bound and determine to make a major dent in more gardening. I knew I was going to get a lot of exercise in so I added 1/2 slice ( 1/2 ounce) cheddar cheese to my Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin. Amazing how much better it tastes! I headed out to the garden. I wanted to make as much progress as I could before it was time to clean up and start making dinner.
I took a break around 9 and had a cup of coffee with my usual 2 teaspoons of heavy cream. Around 10:00 I took a 2nd break and make my Nutrisystem Turbo Chocolate Shake. Given it was pretty hot in the garden it tasted even better than usual.
This is my last Nutrisystem lunch meal left from my original Fresh Start order. I heated the Nutrisystem Hamburger and topped it with the same dressing I've been using lately made with Sriracha sauce and mayo. I added some onion and lettuce. I also had a few slices of the pretty red bell pepper I cut open yesterday.
I had a little more garden work to finish up. When I was done I changed into some "less dirty" clothes and walked over to the drug store to find a couple more "Eastery" things for my table. Yeah, I know, better late than never!
When I got back I showered (none too soon) then got the ham in the oven and started getting the table ready. I'm of course exhausted now after heavy duty gardening for 2 days and a shower. Nevertheless I plugged along.
I got the patio freshened up so we could have a relaxing snack outside. We had iced teas and one cracker and one slice Irish white cheddar cheese each. I didn't want us to eat much and spoil our appetite. OK, so not very fancy haha but it tasted good!
Given there are only two of us I kept dinner super simple. I bought a half of a small bone-in ham. I cooked the ham the old fashioned way; dotted with cloves and topped with sliced pineapple. I made mashed sweet potatoes and I roasted fresh green beans. Simple but so good. I haven't had baked ham in ages. Dinner was perfect if I do say so myself!
I was pretty full. I was so exhausted it was all I could do to stay awake. I watched some TV. I didn't give in to the temptation of any of those little chocolate eggs. The Easter peeps are cute but I don't eat them.
I got more than 10k steps in and my gardening was pretty strenuous so I was more than ready to sleep by bed time. I ate very healthy although maybe 6 ounces rather than 4 ounces of ham. I did put cream and butter (not a lot) in my mashed sweet potatoes. I had iced coffee a few times during the day but not a lot of water. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! See you tomorrow!
