I was greeted with my now daily morning headache. What's with this? I doubt it has anything to do with my eating. Anyway, a cup of coffee and eventually some breakfast and I'm feeling decent again. Breakfast consisted of a bag of Nutrisystem Biscotti Bites and 1/2 cup Fage 2% Greek Yogurt.
I did take time to organize my meals for the next few days. Somehow I missed a few of my days of food. I can't quite figure this out. I should have had 28 days of food but for some reason I only have enough food for 24 days. I did receive notification that my next order shipped so It should be here as soon as today or perhaps by Saturday.
Maybe it's because Nutrisystem provides 24 breakfast, lunches and dinners and the customer provides 4 "free" of each of those meals. That would add up to 28. Ok, lets go with that.
About an hour after breakfast I had a fresh cup of coffee with 2 teaspoons of heavy cream. I headed out for a walk around 11am before the day heats up too much. When I got back I prepped a Nutrisystem Turbo Chocolate Shake. Those are really refreshing after a good walk.
I spent a couple hours at my desk then fixed lunch. I heated a Nutrisystem Hamburger and melted 1/2 slice (1/2 ounce) cheddar cheese on top and also sprinkled the patty with a little garlic powder. I slathered one side of the bun with grainy mustard. It ended up tasting almost like a real cheeseburger.
After lunch I headed out for a walk to the drug store. I was having lunch when Fedex arrived. They left a note instructing me to me to pick the package up at the drug store right up the street. I didn't know they did that, handy!
I didn't mean to miss my snack but somehow I did.
I put some thin, fresh green beans in my little mini-convection to roast. When they were almost done I heated some Nutrisystem Ravioli Formaggio. I wish the ravioli were as good as the sauce. Sometimes the ravioli are hard and dry. I do love roasted green beans so I was very happy with those.
I took one more short walk so I could complete my 10k steps.
Before my last walk I set out the Nutrisystem Lemon Zest Cake. I split it and had half with some water. This is a nicely flavored, moist little cake.
Another day of 10k + steps. YAH TEAM! I stayed pretty full all day too. It helps when I'm busy. I was a little lax with water intake and not that many vegetables either. Even a little progress is still progress. See you Saturday!
