Today I prepared a Flex breakfast (2 power fuels, 1 smart carb). I sautéed some green onions with jalapeno peppers then scrambled that with my egg. I also heated two slices of Canadian bacon and toasted one slice of Dave's Killer skinny bread. Tasted great!
I got a short walk in and in the process I inadvertently missed my morning snack.
I was hungry at lunch time. I heated yet another Nutrisystem Grilled Chicken Sandwich. This time I mixed one teaspoon ketchup with 1 teaspoon mayonnaise to make a little dressing. I topped the chicken with the mixture and added some lettuce and that was that.
I took another short walk after lunch. Although I feel lightyears ahead of yesterday my energy is a little limited. I'm getting small walks in so better than nothing. I had a tiny slice (13 grams) of a little pork chop. It's late and I'll eat dinner before long.
The trouble with skipping snacks is I get hungry. I heated the Nutrisystem Ravioli Formaggio. I also sliced 1/2 cucumber and topped with some red wine vinegar, salt and pepper. The ravioli aren't bad. I like the sauce; it's pretty decent.
An hour or two after dinner I decided a Nutrisystem Fudge Bar (only 90 calories) would hit the spot. These are really good. They aren't overly sweet and have a deep chocolate flavor.
Not a bad day. I'm starting to get my energy back. I got a few short walks in, water intake not bad but OK. I'm keeping on track with the prescribed Nutrisystem foods. Welcome back to the work week, see you tomorrow!
