Up .2, too much exercise I guess haha! It's one of those mornings. I did overdo yesterday. I feel like I've been run over by a truck this morning. I really need to exercise more (just not all at once)! This morning I had more Nutrisystem Granola Cereal with 2% milk. I have no idea what I was thinking when I bought a quart of milk. I'll never use this up before it goes bad. I also had a slice of Canadian bacon and some black coffee.
Not very long after breakfast I had a fresh cup of coffee with 2 teaspoons of cream. For the record, IF I'm going to have cream in my coffee (I do like it black) the proper ratio of coffee to cream is 1 tablespoon (3 teaspoons) cream to 6 ounces of strong coffee. Make a note of that in case you need to serve me coffee one day haha!
Later I made the Nutrisystem Turbo Chocolate Shake. I'm still feeling lousy. Nothing seems to make my stomach or head feel better. Not eating doesn't help; eating doesn't help. It's not likely I'm getting out for a walk today. I did go on the back patio and weed under my big birch tree. That used up what little energy I had.
The ONLY thing that sounded remotely good for lunch was the Nutrisystem Steak and Cheese Melt. This is my favorite Nutrisystem lunch. It has the purest tasting ingredients. You can taste the little bits of steak, the chopped onion and the bell pepper. I didn't attempt to eat anything else.
I got tired of laying around so I got up and grabbed a hoe and hoed a few weeds in my garden path (which is a big fat mess of weeds). The area was out in the sun and it was hot. Heat and lack of energy combined, needless to say I was not out there for long. I came back in, cleaned and prepped some celery and served it with a tablespoon of peanut butter. For the record, a tablespoon might sound like a lot to you but as you can see, it's not. Sometimes eating a little bit of something I like is worse than not eating it at all. It's like a small appetizer that leaves you wanting more (the point of an appetizer). Nevertheless it was good while it lasted!
I was very hungry at dinner time even though I still felt lousy. It was all I could do to haul myself around in the kitchen to prepare dinner. I heated the Nutrisystem Italian Sausage and Turkey Pepperoni Pizza. I didn't doll up the pizza very much; I only added some Italian Seasoning and chopped yellow onion. I also prepped a quick salad.
I didn't feel great but hey, who can resist a Nutrisystem Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich, not me! I love these little things. As a I child the ice cream sandwich was always a favorite. The ONLY possible criticism I have is that the chocolate sandwich portion melts quickly. You can see in the image that it stuck to the plate in the few seconds it sat there while I clicked the phone camera button. It's not a big deal and I definitely would not want them to add anymore additives to correct it.
Needless to say I never took a walk today at all. I was lucky I could stand up or squat down to pull weeds. I think it was my punishment for being overactive more quickly than I should have **sigh**. Nevertheless it was not a bad day. It was very pretty outside and I got to spend some time in the fresh air. I hope you all made the best of your weekend. See you on Monday!
