Ah, now there are some numbers I like to see! I'm down 5.5 lbs.
I didn't have a lot of time this morning. I have a couple hour drive and I had to head out early. I had a bag of the Nutrisystem Granola Cereal and poured a glass of 2% milk. I'm not a big, well, not even a small cereal eater. I do eat one or two types of granola. That all said I truly like this cereal. I was still a little hungry several minutes later and had one slice of Canadian bacon. After finishing my 2nd cup of coffee I spent a few minutes weeding through my email then I hit the road. Today is going to be a lot of sitting and little exercise.
I got back in time for a snack. I had 3/4 ounce cashew nuts. I also grabbed a coffee earlier that included some real cream. I scheduled some office time before my meeting. I hunkered down and got as much done as I could.
I decided to have lunch before I left for my next appointment. I heated the Nutrisystem Creamy Beef Alfredo. This is one of those add water, heat, steep meals. I actually like the flavor. I made a small quick field greens salad drizzled with some Bolthouse Bold Blue Yogurt dressing. It was about time to leave as I finished up my lunch.
I didn't get home until after 3:30pm. I was really hungry. I didn't want to eat dinner early so I went ahead and made a pretty filling snack. I heated a corn tortilla, topped it with shredded poached chicken, then some taco sauce and some chopped scallion. I used 1 ounce chicken on the taco. I was still hungry and given I only used 1 ounce of my 2 ounce portion of chicken I decided to eat the other ounce.
It was cold and windy and I was very tired so I had zero motivation to go out for a walk. I sat down and did some reading. Little did I know but this snack ended up being dinner.
I was not hungry for more to eat. I sliced 1/2 of a crispy red bell pepper and snacked on that. I figured I'd have a snack later if I was hungry. I did make a variation of that taco for my husband for dinner. You can check out the recipe: Quick Healthy Chicken Tacos.
As I thought would be the case I got a little hungry. I pulled out a Nutrisytem Chocolate Cupcake and allowed it to thaw. I ate it along with another glass of water.
I had my lowest step day since I started the Fresh Start plan. This is probably going to be the case on Thursdays for the next few weeks. I'll try to step it up (no pun intended) again tomorrow. I don't like messing around, missing or skipping meals. It tends to cause more problems. I did "fair" on my water intake. Anyway, tomorrow is a new day!
