And my weight is down a little more so now I've lost over 4lbs; so says the scales. Can't feel much difference with my clothes but I wouldn't expect to. Just keep on moving forward. This morning I had the Nutrisystem Granola Cereal with 3 ounce Fage 2% Greek yogurt and 1/3 cup of fresh blueberries.
Around 10:30 I started feeling a bit peckish so I opted for a few almonds and a few cashew nuts and more water. This was about an ounce of nuts.
See my dinner info. I had a Flex lunch as an early dinner. That said I'm going to have a dinner entree for lunch. So for my "lunch" that was dinner I had the Nutrisystem Chicken and Vegetable Stir-fry. I've had this before and I know without a little help it's a bit bland. I added 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce and it added some needed flavor. This is "delicately flavored" but there is a lot I like about it; the noodles, the texture. I was being a lazy daisy or I could have steamed some broccoli florets and added them too.. Try it! About 40 minutes later I walked to town for an appointment.
I was out at snack time and I knew I was having a nice lunch/dinner so I just skipped it.
I switched my Flex lunch for dinner (flinner?). I had an appointment and wanted to eat out after. I had a "lunch" size portion of my fave Mesquite Grilled Chicken Salad from a local joint called Andale (AWN-deh-LAY). I packed the leftovers for another meal. I don't put dressing on my salad so it will keep for the next day. Dressing makes the leftover salad greens look (and taste) very sad. I walked home after my meal and shortly after enjoyed a cup of coffee with 2.5 teaspoons of cream.
Later I took a short walk, just around a few blocks. A few more steps!
I didn't intend on having a snack. I don't know why but I always feel guilty about Flex meals. Anyway, something sounded good and I was a little hungry. I decided to indulge a little so I selected a Nutrisystem Orange Cream Bar. These are only 90 calories and taste amazing. They taste very much like the old 50/50 bars from the 50's and 60's. The 50/50 bar was half orange sherbet and half vanilla ice cream. The Nutrisystem bar tastes just like it (or at least as I remember it).
Walks were a real struggle today so I feel pretty good about the ones I managed to take. My meals were great. Why do I ever stop eating healthy? I get lazy I guess;I allow other life things to become a priority. Who knows? Anyway, water intake was 99% of goal, weight down a little, life is good!
