My stomach dictated that something "bland" for breakfast would be good. I selected the Nutrisystem Granola Cereal. Although it is very carb-loaded it is crunchy and tasty. I don't usually use milk but I topped my cereal with 1/2 cup 2% milk. After breakfast I went off on a Costco run which only took a few minutes because I didn't need a lot. Then off to Whole Foods for my favorite Paleo cereal and last to my regular grocery store for fresh vegetables and some odds and ends.
For my snack today I decided on 3/4 ounce of raw almonds. Almonds are a fave too, very healthy and they taste great and require zero prep time.
Still a favorite; the Nutrisystem Steak and Cheese Melt was heated for lunch. I always finished it off in my little convection oven to crisp the crust a little (but not quite enough). I also peeled a small carrot, sliced it and served it with the melt.
I enjoyed my cottage cheese and banana so much yesterday I did a repeat of that snack today.
I needed to run an errand to the drug store which is close by; just a couple blocks away. I got a few more steps in.
Although there are things I don't like about the Nutrisystem Chicken Pasta Parmesan it tasted pretty good tonight. I served it with broccolini which I enjoy a lot more than broccoli.
About a half hour after dinner I took an after dinner stroll. It was nice to get outside. I'm feeling decent and there was a nice breeze and not overly cool. I knew I would not make my step goal but I got another almost 2k steps in.
I have to say I did look forward to this evenings snack. It's the Nutrisystem Cinnamon Coffee Cake. I made a point to purchase some French Roast decaff coffee at the store today so I had cake and coffee. Very good! The coffee cake does need to thaw for 30 minutes before serving so I sat it out before I took my walk.
I didn't make my goal but I figured that would happen today. That's OK. I'll keep moving as much as I can. I made that 64oz water goal again today which was amazing even to me. That's a lot of water to pack in; more than I'm used to.
