Another .4lb down! I have a very early appointment today; 7 a.m. so breakfast was REALLY early. I quickly heated the Nutrisystem Double Chocolate Muffin. I'm not fond of eating soooo early in the morning but I didn't want to skip it completely. I did drink a cup of coffee and glass of water.
I got to my appointment and what was to be a three hour event quickly doubled. I finally decided to have one of my meal replacement bars I brought along. I tried the Nutrisystem Chocolate Caramel Bar which I've never had before. I only could get a pic of the package but you would see it's one of those little finger-narrow size bars. Once again the grainy texture was evident but the flavor "chocolatey". I had a couple of glasses of water with it. I wanted to make sure not to get overly hungry.
I finally finished up and went back home. I had my lunch meal replacement bar after 1:30. It was funny because I didn't really look at the names of the bars when I selected them; I was focused on the protein level. My lunch ended up being the Nutrisystem Double Chocolate Caramel Bar. Another bar I've never tried before. This one I liked! Of course I haven't eaten much today so I wasn't being very discriminating. The texture was pretty good the flavor of the chocolate quite good, the flavor of caramel not overwhelming.
Given the late start for lunch I really didn't feel like frothing up my Nutrisystem Fresh Start Probiotic Shake.
I was a little hungry by dinner time. After skipping meals (which I highly DON'T recommend) I was almost overly hungry to the point of feeling a little sick to my stomach. I went ahead and heated the Nutrisystem Mac and Cheese with Turkey Sausage entree. While it looks cheese-like, as the case with most Nutrisystem "cheese" flavored meals it lacks any true cheese flavor. Most likely because they use low fat, low salt cheese with doesn't leave you with much for flavor. The little turkey sausage bits were not bad. All in all it settled my queasy stomach. I did munch on a few crispy red radishes afterwards. Those were nice.
After dinner I did take a very small walk. I didn't expect having much time or inclination for exercise today. It was nice to get out in the fresh air which perked me up a little.
Kind of a long tiring day. I didn't get much exercise but I knew that would be the case. My foods today were "OK". I just ate enough to get me by. I am glad to done with boot camp week and I'm ready to move on to more fresh foods. I'll check in again tomorrow; see ya then!
