A very "carby" day.
Weight stayed this same today which is no problem. I use a scale that measures (sort of) body fat % and that did decrease a little. For whatever reason today ends up being a really HIGH CARB day. I reserved a lot of my higher protein foods for tomorrow so I ended up with too many carbs today. For breakfast I had a Nutrisystem Apple Streudel Bar. I have to say I did not care for this. Other than a good, crisp, fresh apple I'm not that big of an apple fan. The bar tasted very overly-sweet to me. My black coffee was good <big smile>. After breakfast I took a walk around the block which gave me my first 1000 + steps for the day.
I frothed up the same 'ole morning snack; Nutrisystem Fresh Start Probiotic Shake. Afterwards I took a smallish walk to do some errands. I went to the drug store, pet store for cat food and my closest grocery store (not my fave store) for a couple fresh cucumbers. I'll buy more at the better grocery store which to me has far superior produce.
About an hour later I needed to post some mail so I took another short walk to the further-away mail box.
I don't think I'll make the 10k step goal today. It's drizzled a little and it's yucky out. Not sure I make a longer walk. So far I have slightly under 6k steps. I finally had today's lunch at about 3:00. I nuked the Nutrisystem Loaded Potato, how I loath that name. It was warm and sufficiently tasty. It's a good thing I was hungry. I've had this a few times and it's OK. I followed it with another 8 oz of water. I served it a nice bowl which I like, that helped.
It's late; I'm going to have my snack later, after dinner.
Tonight was the Nutrisystem Italian Herb Flatbread Pizza. For a "thing in a box" it's not bad! I've had this many times too. I did add some Italian Seasoning , fresh red chopped onion. I threw on some hot pepper flakes right before I served it. I dug around in the refrigerator and found some radishes I forgot I had. I washed those and had a few with my pizza.
This is the Nutrisystem Popcorn Snack. It has a powdered flavoring that's supposed to be like butter. It's clearly a seasoning of some sort. It was nice to have popcorn. After my snack I had just enough time to head out for one more short walk. Closer to 10k but not going to make it.
Almost done with Fresh Start Bootcamp. Tomorrow will be my last day then I go to the next weight loss phase. That phase integrates more low carb vegetables, some extra protein and extra "flavorings" like a little olive oil, butter, low sugar syrup, that kind of thing. Most of my entrees will be from the Nutrisystem frozen entree selections. My weight stayed the same, got lots but not all my water in and still low on fresh vegetables. Tomorrow is a new (but tricky) day. I'll report back!
