Here is my menu for the day..
I needed to have a lower carb breakfast. The foods I have left were all around 30mg of carb. I decided to switch out one of my breakfast entrees I have for the next phase of the program so I selected the Nutrisystem Biscotti Bites. Those come in at 18mg of carb, much better. These little biscotti like cookies are one of my favorites. I'd normally eat them with some Greek yogurt or even with some scrambled eggs. All alone made for a pretty minimal breakfast. My stomach must be shrinking because a small amount of food seems to be satisfying. Of course I had my usual black coffee too.
The Fresh Start Probiotic Chocolate Shake again...
Lunch was a bowl of Nutrisytem Chicken Noodle Soup. It's not my favorite but again, if you're hungry enough.... I headed out for my first good walk for the day. I went a couple miles. I'll still need another walk to get 10k in for the day.
When I got back I was pretty hungry; lunch wasn't that filling. I tried a new bar, the Nutrisystem Chocolatey Pretzel Bar (150 calories). It was surprisingly good! It was chewy but not "yank a tooth out" chewy. I liked the little bit of salt you can detect from the pretzels and the chocolate tasted very good. I slurped down a big glass of water. I'm keeping up fairly well with water today. It does help keep you full.
Dinner was the Nutrisystem Chili With Beans. These beans are pretty good. I topped them with some chopped fresh red onion. It made a nice easy dinner. After dinner I headed out for another walk to get that 10k in. Success!
