Breakfast was not too exciting. I ate a package of Nutrisystem Biscotti Bites and 1/2 cup of Fage 2% Greek yogurt along with my usual cup of coffee. I headed off for the office fairly early. I'm trying something new. I'm setting my phone timer to 1 hour to remind me to drink water and to move around. So far it's working but I tend not to stick with new "great ideas".
About 11 a.m. I had my Nutrisystem Turbo Chocolate Shake. Good to the last drop! Then I took off for a short walk to the grocery store and one other errand. The ability to do just about any errand I need to do on foot is one of the major perks of living in a small town. I also got a little work done outside of the office, some sweeping and little things that needed to be done. So far I've clocked in 3,661 steps, not too bad.
I'm having probably my "favorite" Nutrisystem lunch melt the Nutrisystem Steak and Cheese Melt. I served it with 1/4 of a dill pickle. I'd have more dill pickle but Nutrisystem already provides way more sodium than i'm used to. I had a few radishes too.
I had some of those wonderful Honey Crisp apples so I served one half apple, sliced, with 1 tablespoon peanut butter. I've tried this combo before and I don't love it. Somehow the sweetness of the apple doesn't compliment the peanut butter.
I headed out for a walk before dinner I came back having over 9k steps but not quite 10k. Hopefully my regular steps will kick me up to 10k. I came back and made dinner, the Nutrisystem Ravioli Formaggio. I do like the thickness and the flavor of the sauce. The ravioli pasta is interesting in that it gives a al dente feeling but just not sure what that pasta is made of.
I hadn't met my vegetable goal for the day so I had about 5 ounces low sodium V8 juice. I had one pack of the Nutrisystem Sweet and Salty Snack Mix so I had that with my V8.
I managed to get all 10k steps in, just barely. I felt like I had plenty to eat. I'm still concerned about so many carbs but I'm staying in the 45% carb range, that is carb calories are 45% of my daily intake. We'll seem if my weight starts nudging downward. By the way, my experiment to set a time every hour to remind me to drink water didn't even make it half way through the day. .haha! Until tomorrow, adios!
