So my weight loss for boot camp week was not too impressive. That said, REMEMBER I did start a major cutback a week before I officially started Nutrisystem so I've lost a little more that 1 lb.
Today is the first day off of the boot camp week. This means there is more flexibility with meal options. The morning snack can be a Turbo Shake or it can be one of my choice. The afternoon snack is not longer the Nutricurb Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar but again, a snack of my choice.
The "snack" meals purchased with my plan will be used for evening desserts/snack (usually).
I was feeling lazy and I wanted to get to the town Farmer's Market early. I quickly heated the Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin. I used to like to eat these on gym days. I hope to be able to get back to the gym in another month or so which is currently restricted for me. I had my muffin with my daily dose of caffeine which I take in the form of a couple cups or 2 of black coffee. My "power fuel" for the morning was about 4 ounces of nonfat milk.
The walk to the farmer's market is just 7/10 of a mile each way but I did get good start with my 10k step goal for the day. When I got back I decided (I'm not even sure why) to have a bag of Nutrisystem Vanilla Shortbread Cookies and about 1/2 ounce of raw almonds, and more coffee. This just sounded good although it really was not the "proper" choice. It was nice and filling!
I decided to heat a Nutrisystem Grilled Chicken Sandwich. While I don't "love love" them they are pretty filling and a few less carbs than some of the Nutrisystem Lunch Meals. I topped it with a little mustard, lettuce, tomato and red onion.
Wow, afternoon came and went too quickly so I totally missed my afternoon snack. Right after lunch I took off for another walk so I could hit my magic 10k. I made it!
The Nutrisystem Turkey Medallions With Mashed Potatoes is one of my favorite meals. It's one of the closest meals to real food. I served with a pile of fresh green beans. I added 1 teaspoon of butter to the green beans and just had a little ground pepper on my mashed potatoes.
I have to admit I did get a little hooked on some of the Nutrisystem Snack Meals. Specifically, the Nutrisystem Chocolate Cupcake is a total favorite. I enjoyed one a couple hours after dinner.
I have nothing to complain about. The day went well, I didn't experience a lot of "hunger" and the best thing, I got all 10k steps (and a little more) in for the day!
