Degree of hunger really affects the flavor of some of these foods. The Nutrisystem Blueberry Lemon Baked Bar was one I did not recall from past experience I particularly cared for. That said, this morning it tasted very good with my coffee. It is a soft textured bar with some subtle sweetness. It was particularly good with the fresh coffee.
I had errands today so I was out and about at snack time and completely missed my snack (which I made up for later..).
I was pretty hungry by the time I got home so I prepared the Nutrisystem Loaded Potato (dehydrated entree). It takes about 7 minutes or so to prep. I barely took time to take a picture of it before I scarfed it down. Typically I at least top it with some chopped green onions but I was out (need to grocery shop).
I headed out for a walk, about 2 miles and when I came back I had my Nutrisystem Chocolate Tuboshake. I waited about 30 minutes and I was still hungry so I ate my Nutrisystem Nutricurb Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar too. Finally I didn't feel so famished.
My last remaining week 1 dinner meal was a Nutrisystem Thick Crust Pizza. This is just a slight variation of the Nutrisystem Italian Herbed Flatbread. Given that, I fixed it up the same way I did the flatbread -- added some extra seasoning, topped with some red onion, red bell pepper, chopped fresh mushrooms and some red pepper flakes. It came out pretty. I named it my confetti pizza.
I'm thrilled I hit my step goal for the first time in a long time! It felt good. I'm hoping I'll be able to keep it up. It's nice to be so busy I don't take time to eat. NOT that skipping meals is advisable, in fact quite the opposite is true. Throwing a meal replacement bar in my purse would have been a better thing to do. That said, hope you all are having a great Saturday, see you tomorrow which will be Day 1 of the standard Nutrisystem takeoff plan. Hooray, boot camp is over!
