I've always liked the Nutrisystem Granola Cereal. It's very crunchy and has a nice touch of cinnamon. Normally I'd have it on gym days with fresh fruit and yogurt but this being bootcamp week I had it with the prescribed 1/2 cup of nonfat milk. I rarely let nonfat anything touch my lips but I'm trying to stay hardcore strict.
I headed out for a short walk, just a few blocks, better than nuthin! 2180 steps so about 8000 to go. About 10:30 I dove into another Nutrisystem Chocolate Turbo Shake. I know they say to make them in their shaker but I just don't think they'd be the same. That said, if you are going off to the office or traveling it would be a handy option. Nutrisystem has a variety of promo's that include one of those portable shakers.
Today is a meal replacement bar lunch day. I selected the Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar, not to be confused with the Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar. The texture of this bar is far superior to the Nutricurb Peanut Butter Chocolate bar. The flavor is pretty good too but kind of like eating a candy bar for lunch.
I sound like a broken record (a reference lost on some age groups?). Anyway so as it has been for the last 3 days and as it will be for the next 3 days, I had the Nutrisystem Nutricurb Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar. I really should have some vegetables but somehow combining vegetables and chocolate bars just seems weird to me. Shortly after my snack I took another walk. I'll end up with slightly more steps than the day before, progress at least.
Tonight it's the Nutrisystem BBQ Seasoned Chicken on a slice of Killer Dave's 21 Whole Grains and Seeds 60 calories a slice bread. This entree tastes good but it's visual is not so great. But even the freshly prepared version BBQ pulled or shredded chicken doesn't look a lot better. I'm not a fussy eater in terms of what I eat but the visual and the texture can be a deal breaker for me. That said, because you actually have the opportunity to feel truly hungry on Nutrisystem Turbo 13 you may eat things that normally just would not be that appealing to you. Along with the entree I served raw green beans. Why raw you might ask? I don't like plain steamed vegetables. If they can't be sauteed with a little olive oil and garlic or roasted with a little olive oil or steamed and slathered with even a little butter.. then I'm out. I'd rather have them crunch and raw.
Good day, all things considered. The meals were all adequate and I only was a little hungry once in awhile. I progressed with my steps so that's a good thing. I have 3 more days of boot camp week and my menu will get more expansive which will be nice. Meanwhile I'll keep marching forward.
