Well going down .4 (I was +.5 yesterday) is better than going up but wow, my body just likes weighing more than less. I did manage to get some decent exercise today albeit no workout but at least I was up and on my feet. I took 3 flights of stairs twice and did get a walk in as well.
I'm trying to make sure I don't have too many "meal replacement bar" meals in a day. Today was a good day to have the Nutrisystem Chocolate Chip Baked Bar. I checked back on my notes from when I first tried this bar and the report card was good. The flavor and texture is good. If you follow this blog you probably know I'm a little particular about food textured. Anyway, I ate it slowly with my cup of black coffee and it was sufficiently filling.
Around 10:30 I had my usual Nutrisystem Chocolate Turboshake. By the way, these are good enough that I keep a canister of this shake mix on hand even when I'm not following the Nutrisystem plan.
Today it's a dehydrated entree, Nutrisystem White Cheddar Mac and Cheese. I'm not keen on soft pasta but along with my crunchy radishes I'll be good to go until snack time later. As you can see, patience is not one of my virtues as I should have let the mac n cheese sit longer; its a little soupy. I was hungry and 6 minutes was a long as I could wait to eat.
Around quarter to three I had the Nutricurb Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar. I was hungry so I didn't pay so much attention to the textural problem I have with this bar.
I don't mind these "boxed" Nutrisystem Herbed Flatbread entrees. They are easy to improve with fresh bits of vegetables. Tonight I added some red bell pepper, some chopped fresh mushrooms, red onion and a sprinkling of Italian herbs. If weren't "bootcamp" week I'd have chopped a little Canadian bacon and thrown on a sprinkle of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Once baked this is pretty tasty and filling. I was being lazy so I didn't make a salad and just had more radishes.
I stayed busy today with many activities away from my desk that involved walking. This helped my step count (and my health) and I didn't have a lot of time to notice when I was hungry. I'm inching closer to that 10k step goal! I need to step up my water intake which was woefully low today and be a little less lazy about prepping vegetables to add to my meals. Tomorrow is another day (hopefully)!
