It's gym day and I'm short on time. I heated the Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg muffin. No time for an extra protein, although this seemed plenty to me anyway. For some reason it tasted better than I remember. I did take time to toast the muffin in the mini convection. That's better than the "steamed" out the microwave version.
I had a medical "thing" to attend to right after gym. I took a quick shower and headed out. I knew I'd be awhile so I did take provisions. I brought along some raw almonds and one bag of Nutrisystem BBQ Snack-a-Rounds. Good thing I did because my appointment took longer than it usually does and I did get hungry.
So, here is where the day went a bit awry. I have an old (bad habit) of rewarding myself after major "medical things". I was really hungry by the time I was done, even with the snacks I took. I stopped at my fave burger place in town and had half of a Swiss burger. Not shown was a small order of fries which I also ate half of.
This was my half of the burger. Could have been worse if I ate the whole thing.
I was really tired when I got home and certainly still full from lunch so I had a cup of coffee with about 1 tablespoon of cream.
Even though Thanksgiving was not long ago I still opted for a Nutrisystem Turkey Medallions with Mashed Potatoes entree. I added 1 tablespoon of lingonberries to the plate and a teaspoon of butter on my potatoes. I also made a quick field greens salad.
Later in the evening a snack sounded good although I can't say I needed one. I had one more of the Nutrisystem Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies. Again it was too late for coffee so I had to just have it with more water.
At least I got to the gym this morning. I never did feel up to a walk but I should be better tomorrow. Most of my meals were healthy but I overdid it at lunch. Hopefully I can do better tomorrow. See you then!
