This is my last day of Turbo 13 boot camp. Here are my Nutrisystem foods:
I polished off my Nutrisystem Harvest Nut Bar along with a couple of cups of hot coffee before I headed out to the gym. Thank heavens the gym is just a half a block away because it's getting cold out!
After gym I took my usual short walk. When I got back I fixed my Nutrisystem Turbo Chocolate Shake, good stuff!
I'm glad I had something warm for lunch because my hands have been cold all day. I heated the Nutrisystem Loaded Potato. I'm sure it's just me but I think that is an offensive name for a food. This is a dehydrated meal that you prep by adding water and tossing it in the microwave. It then needs to sit for about 4 minutes. I had to reheat mine again because it was not hot enough for my taste (and my cold hands). The texture was a bit like the insides of a baked potato with "bits" of things and cheese flavor. I was hungry so I ate every last bite.
I had my last Nutricrush Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar for my snack. These don't taste all that peanut butter-ish to me but they are reasonably filling.
My last entree was the Nutrisystem Chili With Beans. I added some chopped onion and Tabasco sauce and it spiced them up nicely. Additionally I made a salad with field greens, fresh Fuyu persimmon (the hard kind) and some scallions. I dressed it with olive oil, kosher salt and balsamic vinegar.
Starting tomorrow I'll be adding an evening snack. This boot camp week went well (and fast). I lost a little less than 3 pounds, also, not bad. I'm looking forward to the weekend and hope you are too! See you then!
