I'm updating via my Nutrisystem blog because I still use some of their products even though I don't follow the program to a T. But I also want to keep you up to date on how I'm doing regarding keeping my weight off.
For whatever reason a soft boiled egg sounded good today. I added a slice of Dave's killer skinny bread toast and about 2 teaspoons of butter. I guzzled my usual couple of cups of black coffee too.
I was up to my ears in "things to do" today even though gym was not one of the things. Snack time came and went without notice (or snack).
I've been eating a half sandwich most of the time when/if I eat one. Today I was hungry after a smallish breakfast and no snack. I went for it and had a whole sandwich, 2 slices of Dave's Killer skinny bread, a couple teaspoons of mayonnaise and 1 slice of Swiss cheese. I also had a couple of pieces of carrot and a small cherry tomato. Amazingly I'm still getting little tomatoes from my volunteer tomato plant.
I had some errands to run so given I was out and about I skipped my snack.
Needless to say I was pretty hungry by dinner time. I had some turkey breast to use up so I sliced it thin and prepared it with a little butter, lemon, and capers. I also roasted a few Brussels sprouts and cooked 1 russet potato and made some mashed potatoes. All shared with my husband of course.
Actually I had an after dinner project, moving some furniture around in my house so I skipped dessert. Given I had potatoes with dinner it was very filling.
So here I am, one year and 2 months after starting Nutrisystem and at my highest weight loss I was down 30lbs. As of this morning, I'd gained about 3 lb back but in my book that's a success. I would like to lose about 10 more but, but, I'm not in the mood right now.
I'll hit the gym in the morning. My new blog by the way is Living Healthy and I just keep up the same format and you can see the ins and outs of what it takes to try to keep weight off. Take care, see you later!
