If you've been reading this blog then you probably know what I had for breakfast. Yep, the usual 2% Fage Greek yogurt, blueberries and I still have a few bags of Nutrisystem Biscotti Bites so I added that to the bowl.
Being the creature of habit that I am I had my daily Nutrisystem Chocolate TurboShake with 1/2 banana. I've read that it's good to boost your protein after a workout so this does just that.
I had some leftover chicken to use up. I had one small skinless chicken thigh, sliced and 1 slice of Dave's Killer Skinny bread. I was still a little hungry so I had some Iced coffee and 3 Nutrisystem Vanilla Shortbread Cookies (1/2 bag).
I had yet another light stick of string cheese.
It's Fourth of July leftover night. I had a dollop of potato salad and a few slices of steak with some of my chimichuri sauce on top.
Later in the evening I had 6 (six) Hershey's dark chocolate nuggets with/almond.
I know I need to step back on the chocolate treats in the evening. I didn't make it out for another walk but came within 700 steps of my goal! Silly, I could have just walked up and down the block. Hope you have all recovered from your Fourth of July festivities. I'll check back in tomorrow.
