I'm having a farmer breakfast today although I don't know why. I don't have any plowing to do haha. I had one strip of bacon, one egg and one half of a multi-grain light English muffin.
I had a slice of Kirkland's Extra Lean Ham (25 calories) and one half of a Nutrisystem Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar.
I made quick sandwich with 1 more slice of Kirkland extra lean ham and 1 slice of Dave's Killer skinny bread with a light slathering of mustard.
I skipped my snack because I was busy baking a cake for a neighborhood gathering I'll be attending later today.
I took a steak to grill at the gathering and had some kale salad contributed by my next door neighbor. I did have a half of a small slice of my cake. I made my Almond Sunshine Cake again. This is such a good simple cake. You really do need to try it. Later I snacked on some potato chips.
I had a slice of this.
It was nice to chat with neighbors, many, or dare I say, most, I don't know at all. We have a very nice family neighborhood. I had a nice restful day. It was fun to bake; something I don't do very often. And it was nice to chat with the neighbors. I didn't walk much but I did get some gardening in. I'm glad tomorrow is another day off. See you Sunday!
