I decided to gut it out and go to the gym. I heated a Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin and gulped down a couple of cups of coffee.
We have a new young woman in gym class, probably half my age in really great shape. She's pretty inspiring because she works like a dog in there and it's paid off for her.
After gym I made the usual Nutrisystem Chocolate TurboShake with 1/2 banana. I did take a short walk after gym but I have an errand out of town so I have to get cleaned up and get going.
Given my errand was close to the beach I went to a favorite little place at the yacht harbor. I had a small salad and a plate of very well-prepared calamari. It was way too much to eat so I brought about half the calamari home. I'll have the leftovers this evening.
I was on the road at snack time, not that I was hungry anyway.
I finally got hungry later on so I heated my leftovers and my husband's leftover coconut shrimp. I made a nice salad from fresh greens and radishes I plucked from the garden about an hour before. We shared all the above. I put some Bolthouse Greek Yogurt bold blue cheese dressing on the salad.
All I had for dessert was a half of a Nutrisystem Chocolate Brownie Sundae I had stashed in the freezer. I crumbled a few walnuts on top, it made a nice but small dessert. After, even though it was about 93F out I took a short walk so I could finish off my 10K steps for the day. In fact, I hit almost 2k over my goal.
I always love the gym after I'm out of there! It's good to have kept up with my step goal several times in the last week. Eating out makes it tough to keep weight off, even if you don't pig out. There is always more fat, salt and heaven only knows what. Tomorrow is to be the hottest day of the week. I'll let you know how I survive.
