I had some breakfast cereal to evaluate from the same company that made the chocolate I tried yesterday (they make flour from coffee bean pulp). The cereal is called Energized Hot Cereal, Trail Mix. They use a proprietary blend of Superfood Grains-Oats + Quinoa plus Amaranth mixed with Coconut Oil plus Whole Fruits, Nuts, Seeds, and Coffee Fruit. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Fyi you can read more about here, and buy on Amazon (of course). I really like all the grains that the crunch toasted nuts. I don't put 'stuff' on my hot cereal but if you like butter it would have been good I'm sure.
I whipped up a Nutrisystem Chocolate TurboShake with 1/2 banana. Later I had one slice of leftover steak (small, like 1/2 ounce).
I have a pile of frozen Nutrisystem lunches in my freezer but I keep making my own everyday. I had yet another half sandwich made from one slice of Dave's Killer skinny bread, some mayo and some sliced leftover steak. As you can see one steak lasts several days here.
It was my Aunts' 96 birthday so we joined her for a little party. They had this HUGE cake for her. It was chocolate with chocolate and more chocolate (right up my alley.) I had a small piece.
So it was not enough to have cake but we decided to finish off this day by eating an appetizer meal out. We shared a charcuterie plate, and sliders. I didn't love love this and really, it was not worth the calories.
Everything comes in "3's" but I ate one set of the charcuterie and one slider. And one row of those house made potato chips.
I didn't have any dessert (thank heavens!).
I only got one very short walk in. Most of my day I had my nose buried in my project which I HOPE will be done by next week. Tomorrow is gym day so I'll get some exercise in at least. I'll check back!
