I'm going to have to come up with some kind of creative hack if I'm going to start eating Nutrisystem Hamburgers for breakfast. This was dismal mostly because I had nothing fresh to add like a nice garden tomato or even a leaf of lettuce. That said, it was something to eat! I did add some chipotle mustard.
After gym I frothed up my gym-day protein drink, the Nutrisystem Chocolate Turbo Shake with 1/2 banana. The drink is refreshing and protein packed.
I was going to make a Nutrisystem lunch entree but I had some review samples of Zattaran's Red Beans and Rice. Honestly I was not a fan of this. If you have reason to eat these little dehydrated meals for convenience and you like white rice, you might like it. It had just slightly less than 600MG of sodium which is pretty high. I splashed on some hot sauce which helped a little.
I was evaluating some interesting products made with coffee flour. One of the things I took a bite of was a piece of dark chocolate, about 1/2 ounce. It was pretty tasty. I'll be trying another coffee flour product tomorrow, some breakfast cereal.
I was in a mood for real food (ooh, that rhymes)! I grilled a steak, steamed some broccolini, and baked a small sweet potato (and ate half).
In attempt to wean myself off of my fatty snacks and cashew nut habit I selected a bag of Nutrisystem Sweet and Salty Snack Mix. If you've read my blog before you know this is a fave snack but I haven't had it in quite awhile.
I only got one additional walk in all day and it wasn't a long one. It was gym day, so that was good. This was one of my better days, calorie wise. Let's see if I can extend my one good day to tomorrow. See you then!
