Even though its Sunday I was too lazy to cook. I put about a 1/2 cup sized dollop of Fage 2% yogurt in a dish with some "odd" black raspberries and one bag of Nutrisystem Granola Cereal.
I was feeling a bit peckish around 10:00 so I ate 2 slices of Canadian bacon.
My laziness continues. I heated a Nutrisystem Steak and Cheese Melt. I didn't even make a salad. I've been eating my own lunches lately, usually to use up some leftover or another so I have an abundance of Nutrisystem lunches in the freezer. I'll start using them for dinner and maybe breakfast?
I yanked a fistful of radishes out of the garden, cleaned them, and served them with a little Bolthouse Greek Yogurt blue cheese dressing. This was a serving for 2 by the way.
I'm getting low on dinner entrees. I heated a package of the Nutrisystem Stuffed Shells. These are OK. My main complaint is that the sauce separates almost instantaneously upon hitting the plate giving the dish a watery appearance and taste. I added a little finely grated fresh Parmesan.
This is my first day in a couple of weeks I've not had an afternoon "cheese snack" or too many raw cashew nuts. I rewarded myself with 3 Hershey nuggets, dark chocolate with an almond. 150 calories. My Nutrisystem options would have been at least 170 calories (she justifies).
I kept my nose to the grindstone all day and only took one walking break. I kept my calories commensurate with my lack of activity. Tomorrow is Monday and back to the gym. Hope you all had a restful weekend. See you tomorrow!
