I'm trying to get back on the wagon, food wise. I heated a Nutrisystem Buttermilk Waffle (1/2 pkg) and topped with about 2 teaspoons of butter and a tablespoon of sugar-free Maple syrup. I scrambled an egg to go alongside.
For the lack of anything better I snacked on about 2 ounces of my leftover prime rib. Lest 2 ounces is meaningless to you, quantity wise, here it is.
I made it out for a walk and had lunch while I was out. I feasted on my local favorite, a mesquite grilled chicken salad. I can't eat the whole thing so I took some greens and chicken home with me for later.
Being full after lunch I skipped a snack.
I had a Nutrisystem Chicken and Vegetable Stir-Fry which I doctored up with some sauteed snow peas and topped with some chopped scallion. I also drizzled a little soy sauce on top but somehow it never seems to improve the flavor.
Later in the evening I indulged in a small fist full of raw cashew nuts.
I got a decent amount of exercise and I'm "almost" back on track with meals. It's easy to get off track and stay there. I'll check back in tomorrow. Hope yawl are having a good long weekend.
