I hit the road early and only had a half of a banana and cup of coffee with some real cream.
We made a pit stop at a Starbucks around 9:30 and shared a cheese and fruit snack pack. That was about 450 calories for the whole thing but my half was only about 225, not bad.
I made it home so I didn't have to have another meal out. I did use some of that leftover prime rib for a half sandwich along with one slice of Dave's Killer skinny bread and my usual teaspoon of mayo, salt and pepper.
Shortly after lunch I had some iced coffee and 3 Nutrisystem Vanilla Shortbread Cookies. My husband made the rest of them disappear.
It's good to be home. While I'm not crazy about the convenience Nutrisystem meals it was nice to feel like I'm eating more in control. I heated a Nutrisystem Chicken Parmesan dinner. I made a quick salad with some red cabbage and a few scallions. I sprinkled a small amount of freshly grated Parmesan over the pasta and the chicken.
For being better today I rewarded myself with a Nutrisystem Chocolate Cupcake, still a favorite.
I'm still not drinking enough water. For some reason it just takes more time than I will allow. I did get one walk in after lunch but not close to my daily step goal. Tomorrow is Saturday, I'll get some exercise then. I'll check back!
