I was heading out for a short 2-day trip so I started the day out with a Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin for breakfast.
I stopped for a quick break from the car and had a coffee with real cream.
I arrived at my destination just at lunch time which was perfect because I was pretty hungry. Although, I have no idea how I work up an appetite sitting in a car. I had a small bowl of beef burgundy stew. I also had 1/4 of the roll you see on the plate with 1/2 pat of butter.
I took a nice walk and when I got back I rewarded myself with about 3/4 of a small snack-size bag of plain potato chips.
I selected a pretty healthy meal for dinner considering it was in a restaurant. I ordered roasted chicken with some green beans and roasted potato. I also had a small side salad, blue cheese dressing on the side. I only had less than a tablespoon of the dressing.
I would not have had dessert but (I blame my husband again) ordered some bread pudding. I had about 3 bites which was plenty for me.
I spent half of the day in the car so I didn't get as much walking in as I'd hope. I should make up for it tomorrow when I plan a good hike.
