I know I'm going to be 'head down working' in the semi-productive sense, this morning. I fortified my inactivity with about 1/2 cup of Fage 2% Greek yogurt, 1/2 package of Nutrisystem Biscotti Bites, and about 1/3 cup fresh blueberries.
I'm an "over-focuser" so when I have a task at hand, nothing disrupts, not even snack time.
Of course after ignoring snack time I'm ravenous by lunch. I have Nutrisystem foods but I opt for a whole grain light English muffin, 1 teaspoon mayonnaise and about 2 ounces Diestal no salt turkey breast. I sprinkle on my usual kosher salt and ground pepper.
I peeled a stick of string cheese. These are only 50 calories but they hit the spot. I headed out for my one and only walk for the day. It was almost 80F out so kind of hot.
Of course I'm crazy hungry by now. I baked some chicken thighs with sesame seeds, cayenne pepper, garlic, kosher salt and pepper. I had one and one half pieces with some field greens salad.
After dinner I headed out to the garden to do some planting. It's too hot during the day. When I got back in I had my usual 1 ounce of raw cashew nuts.
I only took time for one walk, about 2 miles, so way short of my step goal. I'm skipping meals again, never good. What I ate was pretty healthy, I think. Gym day tomorrow. I'll check in again, then.
