I had a little morning chaos but I still managed to eat a quick Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin before heading out to the gym. For some reason this tasted better than normal.
When I got back home I had 2 cups of fresh coffee with 1 tablespoon real cream in each. I also ate a slice of Canadian Bacon (20 calories). Around 11am I had a stick of light string cheese (50 calories). I had to get out as early as I could because now its getting REAL hot for walking midday.
I was hungry by the time I got back. It was about 83-84F out, could have been worse. I made a quick tuna salad with albacore tuna, a little mayonnaise, chopped green onion and a little chopped olives. I slathered about 1/3 cup on a slice of Dave's Killer skinny bread. I remembered I had some carrots so I cleaned one and had that along with the open face sandwich.
I had an afternoon appointment so I missed snack time. It was really hot out, over 92F. I had some iced coffee once I returned home.
I was in a protein mood so i grilled a steak and served it with some sauteed broccolini and sauteed mushrooms.
The steak was very tasty and filling. I didn't finish it and I was too full for a dessert afterward. However, later I decided to have about 1/2 ounce of raw cashew nuts and 3 Hershey's kisses (my chocolate fix).
Gym day was killer as usual. I took a walk early before it exceeded 84F. I did manage to get all 10k+ steps in for the day. It was nice to grill a steak and serve it with fresh mushrooms and broccolini, a RFD (real food dinner). I'll check back in tomorrow.
