I had considered not starting Nutrisystem boot camp until Monday, well that is until I weighed this morning. I hopped back on the wagon first thing. Today I had a Nutrisystem Cinnamon Streusel Muffin and black coffee. Then off to the gym I went.
The gym was hard as usual. I took a very small walk after. When I got back I had the scheduled Nutrisystem TurboShake in my favorite flavor, chocolate.
The shake is decently filling but I was ready for lunch by noon. I fixed a Nutrisystem Three Cheese Chicken entree, which is a product you reconstitute with water and heat in the microwave. I had this before, it tastes pretty good when you're hungry. I need to stock up on vegetables so for now I had a few grape tomatoes with a little Bolthouse Greek Yogurt blue cheese dressing. The dressing is not really on the boot camp week plan but I have to keep this regime doable.
The nice thing about boot camp week is there are not a lot of choices to make. This makes the process easy. My afternoon snack everyday this week will be the Nutrisystem NutriCrush Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar. I do like the flavor but the texture is odd, like little crushed bugs. A few of the Nutrisystem bars have that texture. It does hit the spot with a glass of water or coffee. I did take another walk before my snack.
I had seven dinner meals to choose from, all MRE's, mostly my least favorite of the Nutrisystem meals. I had selected one but read the reviews so I changed my mind and put that one aside. I heated a Nutrisystem Rotini and Meatball entree. I made a quick salad with some chopped red cabbage and Belgium endive, a little, salt, pepper and less than a tablespoon of the Bolthouse Greek Yogurt blue cheese dressing. I topped my pasta with some chopped parsley and about 2 teaspoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese (not suggested for the 1st week).
No desserts/snacks on the 7 day boot camp.
