I haven't missed many gym days, but this was one of them. I've been up since 3:30am. The story is too long and boring (for you) so I'll spare the details. Unless you've ever been in the web-biz you can't appreciate what a disaster in can be. With lack of sleep, and an ongoing disaster recovery I skipped the gym. I barely wrote down what I ate. I'm writing this 5 day's after the fact. It's amazing at this point I remember my name. I tried to keep a pictorial history of what I ate but I didn't even manage that.
I don't recall eating anything until lunch.
I made myself a tuna melt on 1/2 of a whole wheat English muffin, 1/2 ounce of cheese and about 1/4 cup tuna (with some mayo and olives, green onions).
I had an appointment out so I ate a few cashew nuts before I left.
My appointment ran late so I grabbed some "appetizers" for dinner. My husband and I split a small dinner salad and a quesadilla with chicken. This was moderately healthy and calorie laden.
If there was any good news to be had this day it was that I walked to my appointment and walked off a little stress. I had enough to eat at dinner that the only thing that sounded good was to get some badly needed sleep.
Wow, what a day. "These are the days that try men's souls", maybe not in the revolutionary war sense but in the bad day for a workaday Joe (orJane) sense. I just have to have faith that "this too shall pass". See you tomorrow (I hope).
