Another early gym day. I don't like to eat too much or to little before gym. I had more Fage 2% yogurt and more of those delicious fresh blueberries.
I'm typically a little hungry after the gym. I fixed myself a little half sandwich of turkey, Dave's Killer skinny bread and about a teaspoon of mayonnaise. I also had a light mozzarella string cheese stick.
I heated a Nutrisystem Grilled Chicken Sandwich and served with my usual field greens salad. I topped the chicken with a little BBQ sauce; I didn't love love it.
For my afternoon snack attack I had 2 walnut haves, about 1 ounce Parmigiano Reggiano and 3 Panzanella mini rosemary crackers.
I roasted some chicken breasts with salt and pepper, ground garlic, and some fresh ancho powder. I sprinkled the breasts with some brown sesame seeds too. This picture does not look appetizing but it was good. Chicken breasts are just so huge now I always cut them in half but it makes the picture look a little ratty. I also roasted a sweet potato and ate half with a little butter and pepper.
I'm not sure I "needed" a snack but I still have a stash of my Kirkland Nut Bars (210 calories). I eat them less often now but they are still good.
Between the gym, my one walk and my general exercise I hit my step goal for the day (barely). Meals were pretty healthy. We'll see if my scale has a different opinion in the morning.
