It's gym day again. I kept breakfast simple with about 1/2 cup of Fage 2% Greek Yogurt and about 1/4 cup of fresh organic blueberries. I also had a bag of Nutrisystem Oatmeal Cranberry Bites. I guzzled my usual 2 cups of coffee too.
The gym seemed a lot harder today. I did take a short walk after the workout. I was hungry for a snack so I served myself some little radishes and a stick of low fat string cheese.
I'm hungrier today than I typically am. I made a batch of tuna for an open face sandwich.
I was doing well today but my snack went downhill. I had about 5 little rosemary crackers and about 1.5 ounces of Bay Blue cheese which is a fabulous but addictive cheese. I did get another couple of additional short walks in.
Before dinner I got a little gardening in. There seems to be weeds, everywhere. I was very hungry by dinnertime. I grilled a small steak, sauteed some Italian heirloom broccoli and slung together a little field greens salad. The steak was about 8 ounces so I cut it in half and put the other half away for another meal.
About an hour after dinner I got a little hungry so I ate about 1/2 ounce of raw cashew nuts.
I always love gym day AFTER it's over. My calorie count was not bad today but would have been better if I'd avoided the cheese and cracker snack. I'm hoping you all are having a good week. Not sure where you are but here it can't decide if it's winter or spring. See you tomorrow!
