One more tenth of a pound and I'm down 28 pounds.
I am one cranky camper when I don't get any sleep. Despite my cough syrup I purchased I coughed and hacked my way through the night. I feel like a limp dishrag today. I wanted a hearty breakfast in hopes of getting my strength up a bit. I fried an egg over medium, made a piece of toast with about 1 teaspoon butter and 2 slices of Canadian bacon. About 256 calories.
I had one last scoop of standard Dr. Keith's Chocolate cream protein shake (you need 2 for a full shake) so I made a half-order and it was a small but healthy snack. I was still hungry so I had 6 raw cashew nuts.
So today I'm back to my "melts" for lunch. I heated a Nutrisystem Chicken Mozzarella Melt. I made it to the farmer's market today so I served the melt with a field greens salad topped with my typical olive oil, balsamic and kosher salt.
About an hour after lunch I mustered up enough energy for a very short walk; just a few blocks. Afterward I had another 6 cashew nuts and 2 thin slices (25 calories each) Kirkland thin sliced ham with some mustard.
I wasn't sure if I could stop coughing long enough to eat. I heated a Nutrisystem Mushroom Risotto (MRE). I've had this a couple of times and liked it but for some reason all I could eat was half. I topped it with a little freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
A little while after dinner I had 3 Nutrisystem Vanilla Shortbread Cookies (1/2 package). About an hour before bed I had a Nutrisystem Sweet and Salty Snack Mix.
I only got a very short walk in today then laid low for the rest of the day. I tried to keep my meals more "normal" today. I'm hoping I get more sleep tonight so I can fight off this cold. I'll update you tomorrow.
