I had to get to the gym really early today. I had a quick breakfast of about 1/2 cup Fage 2% Greek yogurt, a bag of Nutrisystem Granola Cereal and about 1/3 cup of fresh blueberries. I'm not feeling great but should be OK to workout.
I walked to the gym and did my warm up and one set of "pull downs". I couldn't do it. Whatever bug is trying to get me is trying harder. The trainer said better to rest and fight it than allow it to linger on. I took his advise and walked back home.
I had an unavoidable meeting planned, which I attended and tried to not cough and spread whatever it is I'm fighting. I got hungry and had a light string cheese stick. It was not real filling but better than nothing.
I wasn't feeling like taking time to fuss so I heated a container of Nutrisystem White Bean and Chicken Chili. I always enjoy the spiciness. After lunch I had a cup of coffee with cream.
I've barely moved since this morning but my Nutrisystem frozen foods order arrived today. Hooray! I got that put away. I did find a Nutrisystem Whole Wheat Soft Pretzel in the freezer so I decided to heat that and give it a try. I can say I'm not a big pretzel eater and I've never had a big soft pretzel. This one was OK. I tried dunking it in mustard; not bad.
I was not overly hungry but I wanted something reasonably healthful. I selected the Nutrisystem Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Breast and I roasted some Brussels sprouts. I like my sprouts crispy. Sometime I'd like to try removing all the leaves and roasting them so I just have a pile of crispy leaves; well, another day.
Although something sweet sounded interesting I decided not to eat anything else. You know, starve a cold, feed a??
My workout didn't happen but I did get a couple mile walk in when the sun came out. My Nutrisystem order finally arrived so I don't have to wing it every meal. I'm hoping I feel better in the morning. Hope you have a great weekend, see you tomorrow!
