My wait loss/gain chart is starting to look like the Richter scale recently. You can can see by my chart below it has still been a slow, steady, loss.
I'm on my own. Looks like part of my Nutrisystem order (shelf stable) stuff "should" arrive today sometime but the frozen portion (the bulk of my order) is still snowbound somewhere. I tried a different version of a breakfast muffin. I toasted 1/2 of a multi-grain English muffin and topped it with a slice of Canadian bacon. I topped that with 1/2 of a scrambled egg and 1/2 slice of pepperjack cheese. It totals about 149 calories, actually a little low for breakfast but it was pretty filling. Doesn't look overly attractive.
Not only is my order late but I need to shop. I polished off 3 slices of Toscano salami (again) about 5/8 ounce and tossed back a cup of coffee with cream. I headed out for a walk and racked up about 6000 steps. Not bad but just more than half of my goal.
I was hungry when I got back. I sliced some of my leftover poached chicken and served it on a slice of my Dave's Killer skinny bread with a little mayo, salt and pepper. I had a red bell pepper that was ready to die in the refrigerator so I liberated it and cut it into a few slices. It added some color and still had a little crunch.
I took a quick walk to the grocery store; cold out there! Well, California cold, it's about 39F out. I got my steps up to 8200. Now I'm enjoying a stick of light string cheese and I followed it up with a big spoon of peanut butter; I guess I was in a protein mood. Meanwhile, part of my Nutrisystem order arrived, the shelf stable portion. I have a better selection of snacks now and some of my regular breakfast items.
I got another walk in. I'm almost up to 10k. By the time I do some chores I should make it to at least 10k. I need to use up some of my older shelf stable stuff I've avoided eating. I heated one of the Nutrisystem Thick Crust Pizza entrees. These are really not bad once you add a few things. I chopped some Canadian bacon, red bell pepper, shredded some fresh Parmesan. After baking it for 5 minutes I sprinkled on some red pepper flakes.
I decided to have one good, last cup of coffee with cream. Given I refilled my snack items I had my coffee with 1 1/2 of Nutrisystem Chocolate Sandwich Cookies.
I made the effort to get out and walk 3 times so by the end of the evening I got all my steps in. Using some leftovers in the frig and one Nutrisystem meal I managed to eat pretty well for the day. I go to the gym again in the morning then I have a meeting so I'll be rushing around. I'll catch up with you after that.
