Ever so super-slowing I'm inching towards 27 lbs down. All my meals out don't help but as long as I'm losing weight and living a life in the meantime I'm happy. I need to grocery shop so I just worked with what I had. I scrambled an egg with half a slice of Canadian bacon, some green onion and half a slice of pepper jack cheese.
My Italian parsley plants from last year's garden are still going strong. It was nice to have something fresh from the garden even if it was just parsley.
I was out and about at snack time. I had a cup of coffee with a little cream.
I'm back to my Nutrisystem frozen lunch choices. I heated a Nutrisystem Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I sliced some tomato, added some lettuce and a little gochujang paste mixed with a teaspoon of mayonnaise. It's always challenging getting back to the standard frozen food fare. After lunch I did get a walk in; about 2 miles. I wanted to get back before the rain started (mission accomplished).
I had another light mozzarella string cheese sticks left so I snacked on that.
I had some green beans left to use up so I steamed those and served it with my very last Nutrisystem Turkey Medallions with Mashed Potatoes meals. I added a small dollop of whole berry cranberry sauce for a little sweetness.
I waited an hour or so then I broke down and had another Kirkland Nut Bar. By "another" (if you've not read this before) this is a dessert favorite of mine.
While I did get one decent walk in I'm far below my goal of 10k steps. Tomorrow is gym day so I'll get back on exercise track. My meals were quite reasonable today as well so not such a bad day. Tomorrow is President's Day. I'll check back in then.
