Today is my travel day so most likely I won't get a lot of exercise. I wanted a breakfast that didn't make many dirty dishes. I plopped my usual 1/2 Fage 2% Greek yogurt in a bowl with the end of the fresh blueberries, about 1/4 cup. I also had the last half of a multi-grain light English muffin with about a teaspoon of butter.
It's a long haul home and I didn't have any shelf stable snacks with me so I skipped it.
I hoped if I just whisper what I ate for lunch no one would notice. We stopped at a fast food joint (the same one we hit on the way up) and I ate not one but 2 crisp tacos. 340 calories worth.
I made it back home so I celebrated with a light mozzarella stick. I also got a walk in, not real far but a couple miles worth.
I'm not sure why I was so hungry but I was. I saved my leftovers from dinner out last night. I heated it and it made a perfect dinner, probably high calories. Lamb shanks are a lot of bone but there was plenty of meat left, portion wise.
I needed a snack like a hole in my head but I had about 2/3 of a Kirkland Nut Bar.
I didn't make it out for another walk but hit about 7000 of my 10,000 step goal. I will receive a new shipment of Nutrisystem foods this week so I should get back to my standard diet fare. If the weather cooperates I can get back to walking and I'll be back to the gym on Monday. Hope you're having a great weekend too!
