The Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin is handy but I'm going to start experimenting on my own homemade version. It's just an easy thing to have on gym day.
I'm back to my chilly but sort-of-filling Dr. Keith's Chocolate Cream protein shake. I do get hungry an hour or so after the gym (which was killer again today). It was so cold I broke down and had another cup of hot coffee with a little cream.
I wasn't in the mood to reconstitute food for lunch so I heated a Nutrisystem Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I tossed some greens alongside with the requisite olive oil, balsamic vinegar and kosher salt.
I had to head out and didn't bring snacks so I skipped an afternoon snack.
I overbought Nutrisystem Turkey Medallions with Mashed Potatoes so I heated one for dinner. I also roasted some broccoli. I removed the stems, peeled them then sliced them and ate as an appetizer.
My calorie count for the day was fairly low so I I served myself the Nutrisystem Chocolate Brownie Sundae. I chopped a couple of walnut halves and served those on top.
I had a short walk after my workout and an additional walk midday. I still did not reach my step goal. My water drinking has really gone by the wayside. Aside from that it was a good day. I'll check back in tomorrow.
