I'm a little surprised my weight went up at all given I really did not eat much but the scale knows more than I.
All I have are shelf stable Nutrisystem foods. Those did arrive last Friday. Let me take a moment to issue a warning to all those that don't have time to waste on dead-end calls or chats. Do NOT waste your time on chat or a phone call to find out when your order will ship. They do not know, they cannot tell you. I've had the issue with chat before but I didn't realize the phone people had limited information too. After a 10 minute chat wait I tried to see if I could get info (but knew this would most likely be unsuccessful). They gleefully instructed me to call customer service saying they could help. I then tried calling this morning and waited for 20 minutes on hold to only be told the same thing the chat people tell you. I'd have appreciated it if the chat folks would have told me that. I'd have saved the time.
OK, rant over. I quickly prepped some Fage 2% Greek Yogurt, fresh blueberries and some Nutrisystem Biscotti Bites. This is not my preferred meal before a workout but ya do what ya gotta do. I didn't get up early enough to prep eggs so it would have to do.
The gym session went pretty well considering this was the first time in three weeks I've worked out. I got a little hungry by 10am so I made my usual Dr. Keith's Chocolate Cream protein drink. I wished they were more filling but at least there's lots of protein etc.
I found one last Nutrisystem Pepperoni Pizza Melt in the freezer. I heated it in my normal fashion and served with the only vegetable I have right now, some raw red cabbage. I dunked my cabbage in some Bolthouse Blue Cheese Greek Yogurt Dressing.
While shopping I picked up some Diestal Organic Roasted Turkey Breast (no salt) so I had about 1 1/2 ounces for a snack.
I have a couple Nutrisystem frozen items left in my freezer but some real food sounded better to me. I pan grilled a pork chop with some of my homemade Cajun seasoning and I steamed some nice thin fillet beans. I also added a few slices of cucumber. I did not eat the whole pork chop, just 4 ounces of it.
I guess I have not gotten over my peanut fix but a tablespoon of peanut butter sounded good so that's what I had.
It felt good to get back to the gym (well, it felt good AFTER). The day remained rainy so I didn't get as much walking in as I'd have preferred. My meals were pretty good, health wise. See you tomorrow!
