For the lack of imagination I had my same ole, same ole scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast BUT I also had a quarter of a wonderful papaya. I love papaya when they are properly ripened.
I drug my lazy rear end for a walk and whilst out and about I had an iced coffee with about 1/4 cup of half and half. I've yet to adjust to this dispenser that adds a tsunami of liquid to my cup with the slightest touch of the plunger.
I meandered around long enough for lunch time to approach so I had another one of those treasured chicken tacos. Note the tortilla chips off to the side. I didn't eat them but I crushed them and saved them to feed to the birds.
I headed out for yet another walk (I'm doing OK but not yet reached my 10k goal). I stopped for a SNACK? OK, maybe more than a snack. Husband and I shared a California Roll sushi. I had 2 pieces, he had 3 (piggy!) haha!
Earlier today I put my last 2 chicken thighs in the refrigerator to marinate using my Asian Garlic Chile Chicken recipe. I prepared then along with some rice and a real quick watercress salad. I sauteed the last of my snow peas with some olive oil and garlic. I had 1/2 of a thigh, half the snow peas, rice and salad.
I passed on a snack, figured I had plenty to eat.
I met/exceeded my exercise goal for the day. My calories remained in check. I'm still not doing so well in the hydration department but I'm doing OK. Let you know how my scale weighs in (no pun intended).
